Onboarding overview
Welcome to Traceable. This section gives you a direct, step-by-step path to your first active product or completed task, depending on your role. Choose the guide that fits you.
Traceable is invitation-only for all roles. There is no public self-service sign-up. Traceable creates companies and accounts, and you open your account from the invitation email. If you have not received an invitation, ask the person who set up your organisation's Traceable account (for suppliers and verifiers, the operator you work with) or email support@traceable.digital.
Which guide should I follow?

What happens after onboarding?
Once your account is active and your first product is published, the User Guide covers every feature in detail. The onboarding guides are focused on getting you to first value as quickly as possible, not covering every option.
Prerequisites
All users need:
- A valid business email address
- Your company's legal name and registered country
- Agreement to Traceable's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Operators (manufacturers, importers, distributors, authorised representatives) additionally need:
- Your EU Economic Operator identifier or VAT registration number
- At least one battery product with its basic specification data
Suppliers need:
- An invitation from an operator who has added you as a supplier in their account
Verifiers need:
- A verifier account created by Traceable. You cannot self-register as a verifier. The operator you work with adds you from Evidence > Verifiers in their Company Portal: Add Verifier, choose you from the list of verifiers already set up on the platform, then Add to Roster. Your verifier login is created by Traceable, not by the operator. If you cannot sign in, contact support@traceable.digital.
