Document AI: bulk processing and wider document type recognition

Document AI now processes documents in bulk into full document records and recognises more document types, in English, French and German.

  • Bulk document processing. Each document processed in a bulk extraction job becomes a document record with its own verification task. Running a job again on documents already processed does not create duplicates.
  • Wider document type recognition. Document AI recognises the main compliance document formats in English, French and German, including UN 38.3 transport test reports, CE Declarations of Conformity, PEF/LCA studies, CMRT conflict minerals reports and Safety Data Sheets.
  • Confirm when unsure. When recognition confidence is low, Document AI asks you to confirm the document type instead of pre-selecting one.
  • Separate documents kept apart. Several documents of the same type uploaded in one session are kept separately.
  • Completeness score. The passport completeness score updates as soon as extraction finishes.
  • Supplier data requests. A supplier data request management view is available in the Company Portal.
