v0.99.13: A focused path for voluntary battery passports

Batteries in categories treated as voluntary in Traceable's templates (SLI, portable and industrial up to 2 kWh) get a dedicated voluntary passport experience. The wizard, publish gate, certificates and public view all follow the same rules.

Voluntary battery passports​

For SLI, portable and industrial batteries up to 2 kWh, the platform applies a voluntary rule-set:

  • A focused safety and consumer-information list of fields stays required, including core identifiers, end-of-life information and GPSR contacts.
  • The wizard's required-field counts, progress header, validation, certificate labels and readiness panel all agree with the publish gate, so a voluntary industrial product up to 2 kWh shows the shorter list instead of the full list its mandated sibling carries.
  • The Carbon Footprint Verification certificate is not required for these categories.
