v0.99.22: Several brands in one account, batteries in use and checked downloads
This release lets one company account hold several brands and legal entities, shows which batteries in use still need their charge cycles and accident information, and serves files only once they have been checked.
Several brands and legal entities
- Legal entities. Add each company that places your batteries on the market, with its registered legal name, address, passport contact email and identifier. See Brands and legal entities.
- Brands. Give each brand its own logo, accent colour and operator role, and link it to one legal entity. The role now belongs to the brand, so the operator classification on the Company profile page is gone.
- A brand for each product. The product wizard has a Brand and legal entity block in the Product Identity step, so every product picks its brand.
- Branded passports and PDFs. The passport and its PDF carry the look of the product's brand.
- The operator on the passport. The passport names the operator that placed the battery on the market, using the name in its legal entity record, and lists the importer when the brand is an importer.
See Branding.
Batteries in use
- What is missing. On the Batteries & QR tab, a battery in use that has no charge cycles or accident information recorded carries a note under its serial number, and its sheet says what is missing.
- First use. An Approver or Admin can record the date a battery was first used.
Documents accepted by platform support
- A plain label. A document that Traceable platform support accepted, instead of a verifier, shows Accepted by platform support in place of Verified, on the product's Documents tab and on the public passport.
Withdrawing because of a regulatory directive
- Record the directive. When you withdraw a passport because of a regulatory directive, you now state whether the directive orders the battery data frozen, which authority issued it and, if it has one, its reference number. Through the API these are
freezeOrdered, directiveAuthorityanddirectiveReference. - Updates keep flowing when they may. A freeze stops new battery management system updates for that product. Without a freeze, they carry on.
See Withdrawing because of a regulatory directive and Withdraw a passport.
Passports and imports
- Manufacturer GLN. The EV, LMT, Other Industrial and Stationary battery templates have an optional Manufacturer GLN (legal entity) field under Optional extra details. It takes the 13-digit GS1 Global Location Number of the manufacturer as a legal entity. The facility's GLN stays in Facility Identifier (GLN).
- Critical raw materials declaration. The import column
critical_raw_materials_none_present_declaredreplacescritical_raw_materials_none_declared. It records the statement "The manufacturer declares no critical raw material is present." See Import CSV. - Trial notice. The email that says your trial has ended is always sent. See Notifications.
What to update
- Replace the column
critical_raw_materials_none_declaredwithcritical_raw_materials_none_present_declaredin import files and informDatasent through the API. A request that sends the old field is refused: a CSV row is reported as an unknown field, and the API answers422. A product that held the old declaration needs the new one made again.
