v0.99.17: Bulk document AI with evidence review and a dedicated passport host

This release brings bulk document AI with evidence you can check, serves public passports from their own host, and tracks account deletion requests through to completion.

Bulk document AI

  • Category first, and only what the template allows. You confirm the product category and give AI consent before any document is read. The model can return only fields and options that the category's template has, and the review screen reports "N of M required fields found".
  • Each document on its own terms. Each PDF is classified from its first pages and asked only for the fields its document type can evidence. A file that fails does not stop the others, and your uploads are kept if AI fails.
  • Review with evidence. Each value shows its source page and quoted text. Conflicts between documents must be resolved before you apply, and only high-confidence values start accepted.
  • Apply field by field. Edit values inline, or use Add to existing to see the current values and choose to replace them. An invalid value, such as a malformed GTIN, is left off and reported instead of failing the whole apply.

See Document AI.

A dedicated passport host

  • dpp.traceable.digital serves public passports, the /01 resolver paths, the passport JSON and JSON-LD, robots.txt and sitemap.xml. Other paths go to the app host, and passport paths on the app host redirect to the passport host. See DPP endpoints.
  • Public output follows the template. Public outputs carry only the data the template declares, including the fields inside list items.

Wizard and publish checks

  • Partly filled groups are flagged. A group that was started and left unfinished shows in DPP Readiness, the step counters and the review step, and the publish check applies the same rule for API callers.
  • GTINs follow GS1. Battery templates accept GTINs of 8, 12, 13 or 14 digits with a valid check digit, and /01/<gtin> resolves any equivalent spelling.

Account deletion

  • Account deletion requests are tracked through to completion. See Account.

API

  • Richer schema. GET /api/v1/categories/{code}/schema publishes sub_schema for group and list fields and the type boolean for yes/no fields.
  • Clear errors. A malformed product id on /api/v1/products/{id}/* returns 400 VALIDATION.

What to update

Passport paths on app.traceable.digital redirect to dpp.traceable.digital, so use the passport host for stored passport links. Clients of the category schema endpoint should accept the new sub_schema property and the boolean type.
