Verification history
Accessing Your Complete Decision History
Navigate to Verification History in the left sidebar to view a complete record of every verification decision you have submitted on this account, from your first task to the most recent.
Unlike the dashboard's Recent Decisions panel — which shows only the last five entries — Verification History contains your full record with no limit on how far back it goes.
What Each History Entry Shows
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Task reference | The unique task identifier (e.g., VT-2025-0113) |
| Product name | The product the DPP relates to |
| Battery category | EU Battery Regulation category (EV, LMT, Industrial, SLI, Portable) |
| Operator | The operator who assigned the task |
| Your decision | Approved or Rejected, displayed with a colour indicator |
| Your comment | The full comment you submitted with the decision |
| Decision date | The date and time you submitted the decision |
| Time to decision | The number of calendar days from the task assignment date to your decision |
Click any row to open the full task detail, including the original product information, the claims you reviewed, all attached documents, and the message thread from the review.
Filtering Your History
Use the filter bar to search and narrow your history:
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Date range | Select a start and end date to view decisions within a specific period |
| Operator | Filter to decisions for a specific operator |
| Decision | Approved only, Rejected only, or All |
| Battery category | EV, LMT, Industrial, SLI, Portable |
Filters can be combined. For example, filtering to "Operator: [specific operator]" and "Decision: Rejected" shows all tasks you have ever rejected for that operator — useful when an operator contacts you about a pattern of rejections and you want to review the history before the conversation.
Exporting Your History
Click Export CSV at the top right of the Verification History page to download your full history (or your currently filtered view) as a CSV file.
The CSV contains all columns visible in the table, including your full comment text. The export is in UTF-8 encoding and is compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and all major data tools.
Use the export for:
- Maintaining your own professional records of verification work completed
- Reporting to your organisation or certification body
- Preparing for periodic reviews of your verification practice
- Responding to operator or regulatory enquiries about specific decisions
Why Your History Matters
Your verification history is more than an administrative record. It is your professional ledger — a permanent account of every regulatory claim you have assessed and every decision you have issued.
For operators: Operators can see the decisions you have made on the DPPs they submitted to you. This history informs how they calibrate their documentation quality and how they evaluate your reliability as a verifier over time.
For regulatory purposes: DPPs published under EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542 carry a verification audit trail. Market surveillance authorities reviewing a DPP can see which verifier approved it, when, and based on what comment. Your name and organisation are part of that record. The quality and consistency of your decisions is therefore professionally consequential.
For your own quality assurance: Periodically reviewing your rejection comments helps you identify whether your standards are being applied consistently. If your rejection rate for a particular claim type is significantly higher than for others, it may indicate an area where the industry's documentation practices are weak — or an area where your standards differ from the norm, warranting a review.
Editing a Past Decision
Past decisions cannot be edited. Once a decision is submitted and confirmed, it is written to the immutable DPP audit trail and cannot be reversed or amended through the Verifier Portal.
If you submitted a decision in genuine error — for example, clicking Approve on the wrong task, or submitting a rejection comment with a factual mistake — contact Traceable support at support@traceable.digital with:
- Your account email
- The task reference (e.g.,
VT-2025-0113) - A description of the error
Support will assess the request on a case-by-case basis. Corrections to immutable records require documented justification and are processed with oversight. Do not contact the operator directly to request that they disregard a submitted decision — all changes to verification records must go through the official support process.
