Getting Started: Supplier Portal
This guide walks you through activating your Traceable supplier account, completing your initial setup, and finding your way around the Supplier Portal.
Throughout Traceable, the company you supply to, the battery manufacturer or product company that publishes Digital Product Passports and sends you data requests, is your customer. You can be connected to several customers from a single supplier account.
Your Invitation Email
Access to the Supplier Portal is by invitation only. A customer adds you as a supplier on their account, and Traceable emails your registered business address.
You receive an invitation email from Traceable that names the customer who invited you. A separate email from Traceable carries a one-time link to set your password; use that link first. The exact wording of these emails can change.
If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
Setting your password and signing in
Your login is created for you by Traceable. The password email carries a one-time link; it can be used once.
- Select the link, then choose Continue to set password.
- Enter and confirm a new password, then select the Update password button. Your password needs at least 8 characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.
- You are sent to the sign-in page.
- Sign in with your email and new password. Traceable then emails a 6-digit code to the same address. Enter it on the Check your email page and select the Verify & Sign In button.
Your company details are not asked for at this point. You can review and edit them in Settings & Profile. Your supplier status changes from Invited to Approved when you set your password from the invitation link (or, if that did not happen, on your first completed sign-in).
Finding Your Way Around
When you sign in at app.traceable.digital, you land on the Dashboard. It shows your submission analytics and your open data requests. See Dashboard.
Home is the first item in the left sidebar. It is a task feed that pulls your actionable items into one place. See Home.
The left sidebar is organised into groups so you can find each area quickly:

A Support item at the bottom of the sidebar opens a support dialog.
Some Master Records, Network, Compliance and Account surfaces are in Beta (Evidence Vault, Bill of Materials, Supply Chain, Compliance Profile, Audits & Verifications, Risk & Score, Team & Access, Integrations & API). Marketplace carries a "Soon" badge.
What You Can Do in the Supplier Portal
Your job on Traceable is to provide accurate, evidenced supply chain data to your customers. Here is what each area gives you:
- Data Requests: your inbox for the data your customers ask for. Receive a request, review the fields being asked for, and respond with values and supporting documents. See Receive a request and Respond to a request.
- Materials Library: a private, reusable catalogue of every material and component you supply. Create a material once and keep its details in one place; you copy values into a request by hand. For each material you can also record regulation declarations: your status against REACH, RoHS 3, CMRT / EMRT, CBAM, EUDR and the EU Battery Regulation. See Materials overview and Create a material.
- Certificates and Evidence Vault: upload your compliance certificates (for example ISO 14001 or a REACH SVHC declaration; you type the document type yourself) with an optional expiry date, and choose which of your customers can see each document with a per-customer share scope. The Evidence Vault groups your documents by expiry status and is where you set the share scope. See Certificates and Evidence Vault.
- Supply Chain: the customers you currently supply to on Traceable, with the status of each relationship. See Supply Chain.
- Compliance Profile: a single, live view of your compliance standing, plus company-level regulation declarations. See Compliance Profile.
- Risk & Score (Beta), where your supplier trust score will appear once the live scoring engine is enabled. See Risk & Score.
- Your data (GDPR): from Settings & Profile you can download a copy of your data at any time, under your GDPR right of access and data portability. See Profile.
AI assistance
AI suggestions are not available for supplier accounts yet. Where the portal would offer a suggestion, it says "AI suggestions are not available for supplier accounts yet." and you enter values by hand. Document upload in the supplier portal does not read or extract values from your file.
How Your Account Connects to Your Customers
Your Traceable supplier account can be linked to the customers you supply. Once linked:
- Each customer can send you data requests independently
- You respond through the same Supplier Portal for all of your customers
- Customers cannot see each other's data requests sent to you, nor your responses to other customers
- Certificates start private to you. You choose per customer which ones each customer can see (Evidence Vault, Share).
What the Supplier Portal Does Not Allow

Once your account is set up, we recommend:
- Complete your profile: complete your profile so your customers see accurate company details. See Profile.
