Supply chain cascade tree
The Cascade Tree page works, but in the product today a request you receive from the Traceability tab has no linked requests above or below it, so the page shows only your request. Linking requests into a chain is not available yet.
What the Cascade Tree Shows
The cascade tree page lists a request together with the requests linked to it above (ancestors) and below (descendants). It is a list, indented by level, not a drawn map.
Each row shows the product name, the request id (first 8 characters), a role label (ancestor, focal, or Tier-N) and, if you can read it, the due date and the status. The request you opened is marked focal.
Accessing the Cascade Tree
- Go to Data Requests in the sidebar.
- Click Provide Data (or View Details for a completed request).
- Click View cascade tree at the top right of the request page.
The page is titled Cascade Tree. Back to request detail returns you.
Visible and Hidden Rows

| Readable row | The product name, the due date (if set) and the status, with a link to that request. The focal row is not a link |
| Hidden row | The name "(hidden)" and an eye-off icon, with no status and no link |
A hidden row shows that a request exists at that level without showing its details.
The 12-level limit
The page follows links up to 12 levels in each direction (ancestors and descendants). If a limit is hit, an amber box headed "Truncated:" says why. Descendants are read up to 200 requests per level.
